In April, we attended the WTCE exhibition focused on catering and onboard services for airlines. During the event, we had the opportunity to meet several industry representatives and present our product portfolio. The overall atmosphere confirmed the growing importance of the plant based category in onboard dining and the increasing interest in this type of products. The exhibition also provided us with a valuable overview of current trends in the segment and potential opportunities for future collaboration.

Lunter at New Food Kitchen

We joined the very first New Food Kitchen by ProVeg Česko and it confirmed one thing: plant based gastronomy is no longer a trend, but part of modern kitchens. The competition for the best plant based dish showed an impressive level of creativity, technique and flavour. Huge congratulations to this year’s winner Pavla Drlíková from Veganské neřesti. Big thanks as well to the jury: Miluše Makó, Jonas Slusariuc, Adam Rundus and Petja Fonda, led by Tomáš Popp. For us, this is exactly what Lunter Professional stands for: products that work in real kitchens, for chefs who expect quality without compromise.

Students Present Tofu Creations

At the National Agricultural Museum in Prague, culinary students showcased what the future of professional kitchens looks like. The Budoucnost na talíři competition confirmed that modern, sustainable cooking is no longer optional – it is the new standard, with a strong focus on performance and great taste. The event brought together young culinary talent and experts to evaluate how modern ingredients work in a professional gastro environment and under real kitchen demands. We are proud to have been part of this inspiring competition as a part of the jury and a sponsor to support initiatives that move the plant-based and professional gastro scene forward. The event was also covered by TV NOVA capturing the atmosphere and final dishes.

Lunter tofu enters the Baltics

In February 2026, the HoReCa event “Skonių vasara 2026” took place in Klaipėda, bringing together professionals from gastronomy and large-scale catering across the region. Together with the Lunter team, we participated thanks to our partner and distributor Reketukas, who helped us enter the Baltic market. We presented a tasting of desserts made from Creme de Tofu, marinated tofu, and natural tofu, showcasing how plant-based products can be used in both sweet and creative applications. Throughout the day, we had numerous conversations with chefs and head chefs about the practical use of plant-based ingredients in modern gastronomy. Our participation also confirmed our growing presence in the Baltic countries, including Lithuania, where plant-based concepts are gaining increasing attention in professional kitchens.

Workshop with Regional Health Institution

When practice, the desire to innovate and an open mind come together, great things are created. We had the opportunity to lead a workshop for the Regional Health team in Ústí nad Labem, which covers seven hospital facilities. Together with 24 chefs and nutritional therapists, we prepared 10 dishes focused on the real needs of hospital catering. It was not only about cooking, but above all about finding ways to bring modern plant-based food to hospitals so that it preserves its nutritional value, taste and at the same time is feasible in a large-capacity operation. We worked with Lunter raw materials and modified the recipes so that they made sense not only on the plate, but also in the daily operation of the hospital kitchen.

Falstaff Awards 2026

We were there when gastronomic history was being written! We were a proud partner at the prestigious Falstaff event, awarding the best Slovak restaurants of 2026, and at the iconic Bubble Ponton on the Danube, we unpacked it with our Lunter Professional stand and served a pure taste ride: crispy cannoli siciliani, honest greaves, juicy stuffed padrón peppers, fresh California rolls with tofu tartare and delicate mango mousse, which earned a lot of positive reactions. . In addition to great food, we also had the honor of presenting the award for sustainability and innovation, which went to the Origin Lučenec restaurant. A lunch full of flavors, inspiration, and people who are pushing Slovak gastronomy forward.

Danubius Gastro Cooking Show

This was one of those moments when food truly surprises you. At an event organized by SZKC – the Slovak Association of Chefs and Confectioners, our chef Mathias Martin took the stage and completely redefined what people think tofu can be. In front of an audience of 50 curious food lovers and professionals, he prepared okara fries with bryndza dressing, barbecued tofu cuts à la ribs, and fresh chimichurri. Guests watched the dishes come to life, learned about different tofu techniques, and discovered the versatility of tofu and okara in every bite. The tasting that followed sparked genuine excitement — many admitted they didn’t expect flavors like these. Judging by the reactions, surprised smiles, and empty plates, tofu definitely made a few new fans that day.

Gastro Cup Banská Bystrica

At the beginning of December, we took part in the Gastro Cup in Banská Bystrica, where the best of the Slovak gastronomy scene came together. Representing Lunter Professional, we served a true explosion of flavors – smooth desserts made with Crème de Tofu and irresistible crackling pastries with our crackling spread, which disappeared in no time. Alongside tastings, we actively networked with chefs and professionals from the gastro industry, exchanging ideas, experiences, and plenty of inspiration.

Nutrition and Health Conference

For the fourth time, we were part of the Nutrition and Health Conference – and once again showed that tofu can do it all. This year, the entire lunch menu was prepared using LUNTER products, proving that healthy plant-based food can be both creative and full of flavor. A big thank you to Chef Drahomíra Bečvářová and her team for the great collaboration. We look forward to continuing to support events where health, sustainability, and good food come together.

80 years of AŠKOS

We spent two inspiring days in Starý Smokovec at the AŠKOS event, celebrating 80 years of bringing together school canteen professionals from across Slovakia. As proud AŠKOS members, we presented the versatility of tofu through a range of dishes that meet school nutrition standards and are fully available on our website.
