Ingredients
Yeast Starter
- 30 g fresh yeast
- 20 g granulated sugar
- 24 g lukewarm water
Dough
- 30 g egg
- 120 g LUNTER Creme de Tofu
- 6 g grated lemon zest
- 20 g rum-flavoured sugar
- 60 g granulated sugar
- 40 g vegetable oil
- 20 g vanilla sugar
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- a pinch of salt
Finishing
- oil for greasing the baking tray
- egg for brushing
- all-purpose flour for dusting
- whole poppy seeds
Instructions

Prepare the yeast starter from the yeast, sugar and water.

Once risen, add the remaining ingredients and knead into a smooth dough.

Let the dough rise; during rising, knead it gently 1–2 times. Dust with flour if needed.

Shape the risen dough into various forms – knots, braids or bows – and place them on a greased baking tray.

Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with whole poppy seeds and let rise briefly. Bake at 180 °C until golden brown.
